Job Description
SailPoint is the leader in identity security and governance driving innovation and shaping the future of the industry. SailPoint is looking for a product manager with passion drive and focus to join our Identity Security Cloud SaaS Governance Team. This position will require a unique blend of thinking strategically outside of the box combined with handson practice experience and excellent communication skills. Additionally a technical understanding of enterprise software customer IT environments and rapidly evolving security and compliance technologies is critical. The product manager will work with internal and external stakeholders including peer product managers from other lines of business to help shape the vision and execute on delivering value that will be leveraged across the portfolio of SailPoint products. Candidates must be comfortable navigating complex and ambiguous challenges and working in a fluid fastpaced environment.
This role needs a product leader with a keen understanding of market dynamics and strategic thinking combined with strong communication emotional intelligence and organizational skills. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including peer product managers across different business lines to help define the vision of access certifications for new and existing customers.

What will I be doing
- Participate in all areas of the product lifecycle from ideation user research gathering requirements to launch readiness
- Drive product innovation through feedback from our customers internal stakeholders and partners as well as product analytics and market research
- Engage with stakeholders to scope work understand the impact and gain consensus
- Partner with engineering to develop prioritize and manage the product backlog in a lean/agile environment. Influence product direction across functional engineering teams (frontend backend data science data engineers etc.
- Maintain roadmap and coordinate adoption of deliverables with other product lines
- Help dene success metrics and measure the impact and results of new solutions
- Represent SailPoint at industry events and with strategic customers and prospects
What will I need
- 5 years of experience successfully products to market in a product manager role
- Excellent communication skills with the ability and confidence to communicate and land messages across both technical and nontechnical audiences
- Experience ideating shipping and iterating products with an AI/ML component
- Experience managing enterprise SaaS products in a rapidly growing industry
- Demonstrable success working in a datadriven outcomeoriented environment using frameworks like OKRs (objectives and key results)
- Demonstrated success in working with user experience and engineering teams to research plan develop refine and launch successful enterprise SaaS products
- Proven experience working with product marketing marketing and sales to successfully launch new products and enhancements to the market
- Excellent interpersonal facilitation and communication skills
Preferred but not required:
- BA/BS in business or technical field required. MBA is a plus.
- Background in the cybersecurity industry
Location Travel

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.
As a part of the total compensation package this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a rolespecific commission along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect SailPoints differing products industries and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary for USbased employees will be in this range from (minmidmax USD):
$126600 $180900 $235200Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employees home location.
