Assistant Controller HOAMCO (Prescott AZ)

Position Overview:
Were seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Controller to join our finance team in Prescott AZ. This is your chance to support the financial backbone of our HOA management operations working closely with the Controller to ensure accuracy efficiency and insight. Youll assist in overseeing accounting functions support our Portfolio Accountants Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable and Banking teams and contribute to the financial health of our homeowners associations with precision and care.
What Youll Do:
  1. Support Financial Accuracy:Assist in preparing detailed financial statements and reports ensuring theyre accurate and timely for HOA leadership and Boards.
  2. Strengthen Operations:Help maintain internal controls and processes to safeguard our associations financial integrity.
  3. Aid Compliance Efforts:Support audit preparation and assist with reviews compilations and audits for our communities.
  4. Analyze and Improve:Provide financial data analysis to identify trends support budgeting and enhance operational efficiency.
  5. Team Collaboration:Work alongside accounting staff offering guidance and support to ensure smooth daytoday operations.
What You Bring:
  1. A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  2. 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles with a desire to grow into a leadership position.
  3. Solid understanding of accounting principles financial reporting and general ledger tasks.
  4. Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
  5. Clear communication skillsboth written and verbalto collaborate effectively.
  6. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to getting it right.
