DES is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Salesforce Developer. This position programs analyzes and runs tests on Salesforce including documentation diagram and flowchart and software development procedures used to verify that Salesforce functions according to user requirements and conforms to establishment guidelines. The individual in this role interprets issues and recommend solutions or best practices. As well as solves complex problems taking a broader perspective to identify solutions and act as a resource to lower level colleagues.
This position may offer the ability to work remotely within Arizona based upon the departments business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Schedule and perform functional integration regression and release testing for Salesforce & retesting as necessary
Write and reproduce accurate software problem reports
Works to analyze debug and resolves defects in Salesforce and proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for the application
Support and advocate the standard to test design procedures and provide input to those procedures. Review and report complex test results and offer suggestions for improvements. Create and maintain test data for Salesforce projects
Prepare and execute manual and/or automated test scripts for Salesforce. Identify record and prioritize test issues
Participate in formal reviews of business requirements and application designs
Define input to test coverage based on requirements and design specifications
Knowledge of:
Salesforce Service Cloud agile and testdriven development
Software development processes including analysis design coding system and user testing problem resolution and planning
Integrating Salesforce applications with other systems
Multiple programming languages multiple database management systems multiple development platforms and systems integration
Skills In:
Salesforce Service Cloud Platform Administration
Phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including analysis design coding unit testing integration maintenance and Quality assurance / performance testing
Testing User Interface & User Experience
Scripting across different technologies
Ability to:
Balance prioritize and organize multiple tasks
Demonstrated ability to execute prescribed testing using established procedures and tools
Develop and write technical documentation
Use or maintain testing frameworks test libraries databases and test environments
Interpret and analyze test results
Work with cross functional development teams
This ideal candidate for this position will have:
Bachelors Degree plus 8 years of experience 4 Years Salesforce developer experience (or equivalent experience)
Effective use of declarative vs imperative implementations as pertains to Salesforce Development
Experience in JavaScript Git jQuery Apex Bootstrap preferred
Strong understanding of Lightning Web Components and Data Modeling experience with REST/SOAP based API integrations for connecting with external systems (and internal https requests) and Salesforce DX familiarity and CI/CD pipeline implementation experience is highly desired
Employee shall obtain and maintain a valid Level One fingerprint clearance card that meets DES requirements for a Level One card pursuant to Arizona Revised Statute 411969.
This position may require driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business then the following requirements apply: Drivers License Requirements. Any employee operating a motor vehicle on State business must possess and retain a current valid classappropriate drivers license complete all required training and successfully pass all necessary drivers license record checks. The license must be current unexpired and neither revoked nor suspended. Employees who drive on state business are subject to drivers license record checks must maintain acceptable driving records and must complete all required driver training. An employee who operates a personally owned vehicle on state business shall maintain the statutorily required liability insurance (see Arizona Administrative Code (A.A.C. R210207.11.
Successfully pass background and reference checks; employment is contingent upon completion of the abovementioned process and the agencys ability to reasonably accommodate any restrictions.
