Austin Industrial Inc. We are currently seeking an Instrumentation and Electrician Specialist to work in Pasadena TX.
This position requires TDLR NCCER Certification and a Valid Drivers License.
This is a longterm position working 4x10s plus OT.
Payrate: $35.$40. /hr. DOE. No Per Diem.

Instrumentation and Electrician Specialist
Focus on the oversight optimization and strategic management of electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe efficient and compliant operations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning design and of electrical and instrumentation systems including control systems PLCs VFDs and safety instrumentation.
- Oversee and support the maintenance of electrical and instrumentation equipment ensuring reliability and compliance with safety standards.
- Manage capital projects including budgeting scheduling and coordinating resources for the installation and upgrade of I&E systems.
- Develop training materials and standard operating procedures and provide guidance to technicians and operators on best practices and troubleshooting techniques
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards conduct risk assessments and participate in incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Identify opportunities for system optimization cost reduction and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelors degree in electrical or instrumentation engineering is preferred.
Experience: 810 years of experience in plant I&E maintenance and electrical distribution with a strong background in troubleshooting and system optimization

License/Certifications: Electrical Journeymans TDLR & NCCER certification and familiarity with industry standards such as NEC API ANSI and OSHA regulations are highly desirable.
