Your Role:
- Lead and grow a talented team of 45 engineers
- Spend 50 of your time on handson development databases architecture)
- Establish best practices in SDLC code quality and production reliability
- Collaborate closely with USbased product and engineering teams
- Thrive in ambiguitybring structure while adapting to startup pace
- Mentor engineers unblock challenges and drive technical decisions
Technical MustHaves:
- 78 years in software development 45 years in product companies (customerfacing SaaS)
- Strong backend focus: 23 years of 5 years with relational databases
- 12 years as a tech lead (owning architecture design and code quality)
- Fullstack exposure but prefers backend complexity
- Proven experience supporting production SaaS applications
Leadership MustHaves:
- 23 years managing teams 47 engineers)
- Experience with performance cycles hiring and team development
- Ability to align engineering roadmaps with product goals
- Scrum/Agile leadership (eventually)
NicetoHave:
- Startup enterprise experience (US/EU hybrid teams a plus)
- GCP infrastructure knowledge
