The Payroll and Tax Specialist has a solid understanding of payroll production management accounting and tax reporting. This particular role will have a good understanding of the process of working with various state and federal tax and regulatory agencies all across the US. The Payroll and Tax Specialist will provide essential in assisting in and driving the onboarding of new clients in conjunction with their US counterparts. This person will be delivering operating efficiencies through HubSpot G Suite Office 365 and other business systems.
Requirements
Requirements/Skills Needed:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in US Accounting or a similar role in the US Tax accounting industry.
- Strong knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices specifically with US payroll systems.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with various accounting software like APEX Payroll ISolved payroll or a similar system.
- Working knowledge US tax system compliance & related functions.
- Ability to process tax lodgments in various US states via state portals for current clients and the capability to seamlessly onboard new clients.
- Demonstrable knowledge of small business taxation typical business entity options tax planning considerations coordination with advisors.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail time management and accounting administration skills.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and cognitive thinking with interpersonal skill.
