Job Description

Install and support Intuitive Surgical products and ensure service agreements and warranty obligations are fulfilled.  Exceed customer expectations and maintain customer satisfaction to the highest possible level.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Presite verifications to prepare the site for system installation.
  • Assist in the coordination of system delivery (e.g. confirming site readiness).
  • Perform system installations.
  • Install system upgrades.
  • Provide technical and clinical support to endusers and other ISK employees.
  • Train customers on new features or enhancements made to existing features.
  • Perform maintenance inspections as required to ensure the system meets performance specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and repair Intuitive Surgical products and associated equipment failures as required.
  • Maintain accurate configurations of the installed base.
  • Manage spare parts inventory.
  • Support tradeshow activity.
  • Provide backup support to adjacent FSEs
  • Administrative duties which include but are not limited to; Field Activity Reports Return Material Authorizations Expense Reports etc.
  • Act as a liaison for customers to HQ and Sales.
  • Provide feedback to HQ to improve processes and improve efficiencies.
  • Develop strong partnerships with hospital stakeholders
  • Competent in knowledge and implementation of O.R. protocol.
  • Provide customers with Sterile and Reprocessing Support such as SRS training Site Review Advanced Exchange program communications etc.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum Degree in electronics mechanical engineering biomedical engineering or equivalent training/experience
  • Maximum 3 years of relevant field experience in the medical device industry preferred
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting electromechanical systems
  • Strong administrative and recordkeeping skills
  • Advanced verbal written and reading English skills
  • Base knowledge of computers and standard software applications
  • Familiarity with O.R. protocols anatomic terminology and knowledge a plus
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to change without losing focus on priorities
  • Ability to travel
  • Able to lift 100 lbs and move object up to 1200 lbs
