Job Description

Robert Bosch (Australia) Pty Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Undergraduate Intellectual Property Management Engineer to join our CrossDomain Solutions Department on a FullTime basis for 12months commencing July 2025 based at our Clayton headquarters.

You will gain valuable experience and knowledge as an integral part of our team. Some of the tasks that you will undertake with us include: 

  • Supporting the Intellectual property activities and investigations for the design of new products components or systems.
  • Supporting the development of Intellectual property life cycle process and methods process review process rollout and process training. 
  • Managing the patent portfolio and the patent release process including patent payments and invoicing.
  • Supporting the engineers throughout the patent release process. Including innovation invention report to patent release.
  • Ensuring all development activities are performed in accordance with the companies procedures as well as relevant international standards.

Qualifications :

To be considered for our Student Program you are required to meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently enrolled in and have completed a minimum of 2 years towards an Engineering Undergraduate degree (majoring in Electronics Electrical Mechatronics or Robotics).
  • Ability in requirements engineering and cascading requirements to other areas.
  • Demonstrating problem solving skills and understanding methodologies (PSS 8D).
  • Ability to work with the customer eliciting requirements and concept development.
  • Understanding in Intellectual property and Patent management.
  • Good understanding of Product Life Cycle (PLC) and Defect management lifecycle.
  • Experience with technical products.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal including a strong focus on customer and stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail be able to prioritise multiple tasks work well within a team.
  • Have a strong interest in innovation and open to opportunities to combine your studies with onthejob learning.

Desirable:

  • Training and Process deployment.


Additional Information :

An Assessment Centre will be held early June at our Clayton headquarters for shortlisted candidates providing the opportunity to engage in group activities and a possible interview.
