Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking an Entry Level Guidance Engineer (Control Systems Analysis & Design) in Ogden Utah. The Strategic Deterrence Systems (SDS) organization is dynamic and growing with a leadership team focused on attracting and developing top talent in support of critical missions for National Defense and Strategic Deterrence. Position Responsibilities:

• Supports the gathering of system level requirements
• Performs and documents analysis of Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) systems to validate or assess the system design or models
• Assists troubleshooting of routing operational anomalies functional tests and services incidents
• Supports tests analysis and design review per FAA MILSPEC and NASA guidance to deliver a compliant product
• Works under close supervision
• Interacts primarily with immediate supervisor and other personnel within the group
• Supports upgrading field assessment tools using data analytic methods

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
• Experience or coursework using Matlab/Simulink MatrixX or an equivalent tool
• Experience or coursework in computer programming in C C# C Ada or other common programming languages

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in guidance navigation and controls or aerospace engineering
• Experience with simulation and / or system/component modeling
• Experience with Kalman Filter design estimation techniques
• Experience with implementing algorithms in real time systems
• Experience with autocoding of software

This position is expected to be 100 onsite.
