Quality Staffing Inc. also doing business as Goddard Mason Executive Search a leading fullservice employment agency matching qualified talent with some of the areas top companies is seeking an experienced Junior Construction Project Manager to workthrough our agency as a contract employee with the state of Tennessee Department of Environment and Commerce (TN EC) located in Nashville TN. This is a hybrid position working Monday through Fridayfrom 8:00 am to 4:30 pm and the pay rate for this position is $43.00 per hour.
Jr Construction Project Manager Job Overview:
The Facilities Management Division within the State of Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) is seeking a construction project manager to attend construction project meetings for assigned Tennessee State Parks capital projects and related work. **MUST BE LOCAL TO THE NASHVILLE AREA**
Jr Construction Project Manager Job Duties will include:
- Attending design and construction project meetings for assigned capital projects.
- Providing status updates to Facilities Management group as requested and bringing any concerns/issues to the appropriate staff.
- Acting as a liaison between Tennessee state Parks staff and the designer and contractors so the park needs are heard.
Qualification Requirements and Additional Information for Jr Construction Project Manager position:
- Project meetings may be virtual or onsite.
- Reimbursement for travel expenses will be provided.
- Based on location of selected candidate TDEC will determine means of transportation (provided state vehicle rental cars mileage reimbursement for own car usage etc.
- Expected hourly commitment of 3035 hours per week with the potential for overnight travel but there is no guaranteed minimum hours per week as it will be dependent on project needs and related administrative time.
- Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 35 years in a management or constructionrelated field and general knowledge of processes surrounding construction projects.
- Candidate is expected to have a basic understanding of Microsoft Suite or at a minimum familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Outlook.
