AWS Security TPM SecOps Risk

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Security is looking for an experienced and selfmotivated Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our AWS Security Operations (SecOps) Risk team. SecOps Risk partners with crossfunctional service teams to drive complex and longterm remediation solutions that address complex security risks.

AWS is looking for a Security TPM to ensure that our infrastructure operates to the highest standards required to maintain and enhance internal and external customer trust. If you enjoy leading teams of engineers and developers analyzing engineering and architecting system services custom services COTS products networks infrastructure applications and you are skilled at organizing driving and communicating laterally and upwards to management this position will provide you with a challenging opportunity in solving complex and farreaching problems. A successful candidate will have a good mix of deep technical security knowledge and a demonstrated track record of successful complex and large scale project delivery.

Key job responsibilities
* Work in tandem with internal Amazon and AWS service teams to improve internal infrastructure services
*Work with security engineers developers and TPMs to develop risk mitigation plans and secure architecture designs
* Communicate effectively across leadership teams
* Influence service teams across Amazon to adopt systems and processes with security best practices
* Address bottlenecks provide escalation management anticipate and make tradeoffs and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
* Partner with multiple teams across multiple locations with varying sets of priorities to ensure a timely delivery of the secure solution.
* Clarify and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability.
* Develop and maintain metrics dashboards

3 years of technical product or program management experience
Experience building and evaluating systemlevel technical design
2 years of experience in security architecture threat modeling or application security

3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
2 years of analytical quantitative communication and presentations experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
