Job Description
A dynamic and forwardthinking engineering firm is seeking a skilled Electrical Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a strong background in electrical engineering and proven experience managing and executing multidisciplinary infrastructure or industrial projects from concept to commissioning.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and manage electrical engineering projects ensuring they are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including design teams contractors and clients.
- Review and interpret electrical designs specifications and technical documentation.
- Oversee project including quality control compliance with standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare progress reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
- Assist with tender evaluations and procurement processes.
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (BEng or BSc Eng).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical project engineering within infrastructure industrial or energy sectors.
- Professional registration (or working towards registration) with ECSA is advantageous.
- Proficient in project management principles and tools.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems installations and applicable regulations.
- Excellent communication coordination and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
