Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and manage Quality and SHEQ functions in an Electronics Manufacturing Environment. You will ensure compliance with customer regulatory and industry standards while maintaining a robust Quality Management System (QMS). This role will drive continuous improvement instill a qualityfocused culture and align strategy and governance across quality and compliance activities.
Duties & Responsibilities
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Management or a related field.
57 years experience in Quality Assurance and SHEQ ideally in electronics manufacturing.
Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; ISO 14001 / 45001 knowledge is a plus.
Solid understanding of IPCA610/620 and PCBA inspection practices.
Skilled in QMS software data analysis and MS Office tools.
Proven team leadership training and conflict resolution abilities.
Strong grasp of KPI tracking compliance and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) to align with ISO 9001 and clientspecific standards.
Ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements including environmental health and safety chemical handling and ESD protocols.
Lead internal customer and supplier audits resolving nonconformances with effective corrective and preventive actions.
Manage daily quality operations and lead a team of Inspectors Controllers AOI Inspectors and the Quality Supervisor.
Conduct root cause analysis using tools like 8D Fishbone and 5 Whys to drive corrective actions.
Monitor and report on key quality metrics such as yield escape rates and defect trends to support continuous improvement.
Create and implement quality plans and product specifications that meet contractual and internal standards.
Oversee SHEQ initiatives including incident reporting compliance audits safety training and committee coordination.
