WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
You will report into the Territory EKIN Manager and will work closely with your Centralized EKIN team Territory EKIN teams and City/Geography Marketing teams to prioritize seasonal will collaborate with Account Training & Delivery partners to optimize education touchpoints against the holistic vision of athlete education in your market and more will work with Field Leadership teams Store teams and Retail Store Operations team as you will manage external vendor partners in the creation of training events.

In 1981 Nike created the EKIN team (EKIN is Nike spelled backwards) to serve as Nikes Athlete Missionaries building deep and meaningful relationships with athletes in the served as the baton between Nikes products and customers sharing product insights and innovations while converting others to discover a passion for sport.
Today the EKIN team continues that mission bringing Nikes inspiration and innovation to athletes around the globe. While this role has a strong focus on running EKINs represent Nike across all sports ensuring that every athlete can find the right gear to make athlete dreams real.
Youll help maintain brand consistency build relationships and deliver exceptional educational experiences in Nikeowned stores with key retail partners and the community.
We are looking for an EKIN to join our team based in New York City. The ideal candidate is a dedicated sport enthusiast with a particular passion for running a background in retail and excellent presentation skills. These qualities have driven EKINs success for over 40 years and they will continue to power Nike for the next 50.
- Bachelors degree or higher; or combination of relevant education experience and training
- A minimum of 1 year directly relevant work experience in retail sales customer service mentoring or instructing
- Demonstrated knowledge of the running market as it relates to consumer trends local market hot spots and retail destinations
- Ability to connect and inspire people meeting facilitation and making strategic recommendations
- Ability to drive a culture of alwayson testing and learning including the rapid application of consumer signals into strategy planning and content iteration
- Must have a deep passion for the NIKE brand and sports
- Positive and active presence on social media and across the digital world with experience in content creation and online storytelling
- Experience with an event agency or large scale special events preferred but not required
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 75 of the time
- Must lift heavy objects and sample bags that weigh up to 50 lbs.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Bringing key Nike business and brand stories to life across the marketplace as Nikes product authority
- Leveraging marketplace expertise to develop locally relevant seasonal plans aligned with city or geo marketing teams
- Leveraging your passion and position to strategically authenticate Nike brand stories in the marketplace
- Creating experiential training sessions that energize Retail Associates in your market with effective tools that drive reach and impact across multiple formats including video virtual and immersive inperson sessions.
- Actively participate in the running community. You will integrate and collaborate with the community in meaningful and impactful ways that reinforce Nikes mission and beliefs.
- You will serve as Nikes eyes and ears shaping marketplace insights with observations of the consumer product competition and trends.
