We are the team behind ChatGPT a rapidly evolving AI companion designed to answer any question and perform any task intuitively. With over 200 million weekly active users globally ChatGPT plays a significant role in ensuring that AI benefits all of humanity. And were just getting started. We have ambitious plans to further enhance the product by combining research engineering and design making ChatGPT even more intuitive and indispensable in users daily lives.
About the Role
Were seeking a product leader to push the boundaries of ChatGPTs capabilities enabling it to perform more complex tasks such as software engineering data analysis and research. As our models become increasingly intelligent we envision ChatGPT performing these tasks with a level of quality akin to a smart coworker.
This is a zerotoone role where you will be instrumental in shaping what we build from the ground up. Youll work extremely closely with our research teams to identify opportunities prototype solutions measure progress and ensure we deliver exceptional value to our users.
This position is based in our office in New York city. We utilize a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role you will:
Vision & Strategy: Spearhead the development and implementation of cuttingedge AI research by crafting the vision strategy roadmap and plan.
Product Development: Convert user feedback into detailed product requirements narratives and technical specifications.
DataDriven Insights: Utilize data to deeply understand user needs and guide future product development.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with research product design and engineering teams to bring new capabilities to life.
You might thrive in this role if you:
Enjoy building 0to1 products from the ground up.
Have 5 years of product management experience or have successfully started a company.
Hold a bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems Analytics Mathematics Physics Applied Sciences or a related field.
Have proven experience working in a technical environment collaborating with crossfunctional teams to drive product vision define requirements and guide teams through key milestones.
Are passionate about design and excel at finding bestinclass solutions to UX UI and interaction challenges.
Showcase strong leadership organizational and skills with excellent communication abilities.
