The Dog & Fox is a vibrant iconic pub and boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Wimbledon Village. With a passion for seasonal produce innovative menus and exceptional service we are proud to be a cornerstone of the local community and were growing.
We are now searching for a talented and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen brigade.
About the RoleAs Senior Sous Chef youll play a pivotal role in leading our large kitchen team alongside the Head Chef. This is a handson role for a natural leader with a creative flair and a commitment to culinary excellence.
Youll help shape the culinary direction of the kitchen from daily service to bespoke menu development seasonal specials and event catering always ensuring the highest standards of consistency and quality.
What Youll DoSupport and deputise for the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management
Lead mentor and motivate a large talented team of chefs and kitchen porters
Design and deliver bespoke seasonal menus that excite and inspire
Maintain full compliance with food safety hygiene and health & safety standards
Oversee stock control ordering and cost management
Drive innovation while protecting our pubs reputation for quality and consistency
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a highvolume qualityled kitchen
Exceptional leadership and organisational skills
Passion for fresh seasonal ingredients and innovative menu design
Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills
Ability to nurture and develop junior team members
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
