Job Description
Job Title: Middle School Math Focus
Location: Clinton Middle School
CPS Certified/Noncertified Salary Schedules
Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused math instruction aligned with Oklahoma Academic Standards and district curriculum to address student learning gaps and promote mastery of key concepts.
- Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students based on their specific needs and assessments.
- Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and manipulatives to create an engaging and effective learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with general education math teachers to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.
- Monitor student progress through frequent assessments and data analysis.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress and provide strategies for supporting math learning at home.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in math education.
Qualifications:
- Oklahoma State Teaching License in Mathematics (Middle Level) or a related field.
- Strong understanding of middle school math curriculum and the Oklahoma Academic Standards.
- Proven ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Experience in working with students who require additional support is a plus.
- Excellent communication collaboration and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for math education and a commitment to student success.
