Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking to hire a highly motivated customerobsessed professional to provide handson support to our Data Center Security team across Bahrain Cluster.
As a Data Center Security Specialist (DSS) you will be tasked with running daytoday data center security operations supporting and executing security projects and programs as well as assuring audit compliance with AWS policies and procedures.
Youll join a diverse team of software hardware and network engineers supply chain specialists security experts operations managers and other vital roles. Youll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And youll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.
Key job responsibilities
Help lead daily operational security as part of a security operations team across multiple facilities.
Drive security awareness campaigns aimed at enhancing security vigilance and effectiveness.
Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction development of performance metrics.
Lead security investigations across campus facilities.
Oversee physical security vendors that provide guards electronic security systems door construction/repair fencing and access controls.
Oversee security construction projects.
Provide security awareness training to data center personnel

Bachelors degree or equivalent professional experience in security
2 years experience in physical security management
Strong datadriven decision making and analytical skills
Member of a security professional body
Security specific qualifications and/or proof of continued personal development
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
