Review both (sales orders accounting entries). Supervising all Account Receivable accountants.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Accounts Receivable Management: Oversee the accounts receivable function including invoicing billing collections and cash application. Ensure accurate and timely recording of customer transactions and maintain uptodate customer accounts.
2. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of AR accountants. Provide guidance support and training to ensure the teams performance meets or exceeds expectations. Set goals conduct performance reviews and address any performance or disciplinary issues.
3. Credit Control: Follow credit control policies and procedures to manage credit risk effectively. Recommend changes to current credit limits. Monitor credit exposures aging reports and collections activities.
4. Take necessary actions to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow.
5. Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with customers and address any billing or payment queries promptly and professionally.
6. Collaborate with sales teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction. Implement strategies to enhance customer payment processes and minimize disputes.
7. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accounts receivable reports aging analyses and cash flow projections. Provide accurate and timely financial information to management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting principles standards and internal controls related to accounts receivable.
8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline and improve AR processes procedures and controls. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency accuracy and effectiveness. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to drive process improvements and resolve issues.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Minimum education: BSC OF Commerce Accounting Section
Ideal experience: 1215 years Experience in the AR Function out of which 34 years as a manager or heading the section
Languages: Fluent English & Arabic reading and writing
Computer Skills: Microsoft office & internet browsing and searching
Other Skills: Strong communication negotiation organizing and high planning.
