Job Purpose:
Lot attendants are to wash and detail automobiles. Lot attendants are also expected to ensure that all vehicles are prepped for delivery clean and on time while adhering to the department delivery schedule.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Thorough cleaning polishing and waxing the automobiles both inside and out to produce a showquality level of detail.
- Interior detailing involves cleaning the passenger compartment of the automobile:
- All of the dash area panels windows and seat are cleaned extensively.
- Vacuuming is standard and steam cleaning liquid cleaners and brushes may be used to remove stains on upholstery.
- Other interior surfaces may also be polished.
- Inspect vehicles to detect damage.
- Record the description of damages.
- Park vehicles in assigned areas.
- Assign tag numbers to cars catalog and store keys.
- During winter months keep doorways shoveled sanded and cleared.
- Clear snow and ice from cars in lot during winter months.
- Transport customer as requested by Service Managers.
- Picking up and delivering of parts personnel and paperwork as required by other dealership depts.
- Perform tasks as directed by Sales and Service Manager (i.e. washing customers cars emptying trash containers or any other task that will assist in the smooth flow of the company).
- Responsible for abiding by safety rules regulations and procedures enforced by management.
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Dealerships Vision Mission and Values in all interactions with customers coworkers lenders and vendors.
- Adhere to all company policies procedures and safety standards.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily in a
professional manner; must be legally and technically able to safely operate Company and customerowned vehicles; and must be insurable by Company insurance carrier. Working extended hours evenings and weekends may be required to achieve goals.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or the equivalent
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- Valid drivers license with good driving record.
- Organization skills.
Conduct one self and dress properly in a manner that brings credibility to the dealership.
