You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Division of Facilities Management is a customerdriven support organization responsible for providing facilities management services to all CDHS agencies and offices. These services include the maintenance of building and grounds custodial capital construction (budgeting and contract management) utilities management vehicle fleet management building space leasing allocation and facilities planning services. This is accomplished through a centralized statewide team that is divided into three districts and a central office. By combining our expert professional extensive facilities knowledge and strong commitment to reliable responsive service we enable our clients to achieve consistently highperformance facilities and longterm value. Our goal is to be an organization that meets customer expectations 100 of the time.
The Planning and Technical Services (PTS) department provides professional expertise in the area of land and building development planning of future facilities initiation and implementation of appropriate and large nonappropriated projects development of the Capital Construction and Controlled Maintenance budget requests development of grants for funding sources outside of State government management of the Departments energy budget contract management for projects and capital facilities related procurement leasing of real estate fleet management and the provision of consulting services to the Division and the Department in the areas of Architecture and Engineering and the interpretation of the application of building codes and facility standards. PTS also provides maintenance (all mechanical heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) plumbing electrical security electronics low voltage life safety grounds keeping structural trades heat plant garage and fleet maintenance) and housekeeping (cleaning and custodial services for CDHS owned and operated buildings) services for all CDHS facilities north of Colorado Springs and east of the Continental Divide.
Fleet Administration:
Monitor Preventive Maintenance: Knowledge of Maintenance and Repairs: Track Vehicle Use to Minimize Over/Under Mileage Vehicles: Vehicle Use and Requirements for CDHS:
Provide Current Information of Vehicles to SFM: Coordinate Vehicle Damage Reports and Repairs with Driver:
Coordinate Vehicle Assignment /Reassignments/Replacements:
Registration Renewals and Emissions:Monthly Mileage/Odometer Readings: Communicate With Fiscal Officers: Motor Vehicle Advisory Council:
Maintain and update an accurate list of CDHS Vehicle Coordinators by Division that has contact information and shows vehicles for which Coordinators are responsible.
Conduct Quarterly Vehicle Coordinator calls.
Work with Division Vehicle Coordinators to complete and return the State Fleet Management Annual Vehicle Inventory before the deadline provided by SFM.
Coordinate and monitor department wide compliance with the UNIVERSAL POLICY Driving Standards as set forth by DPA.
Coordinate with the DFM Finance Team on the following duties. These duties are managed by the DFM Finance team but should be reviewed by the Fleet Administrator;
Review monthly Fuel Master Billing for both Northern District and Southern District Fleet vehicles.
Review Monthly Pool vehicle Billing for both Northern District and Southern District Fleet vehicles. This includes updating the fixed and variable rates for the vehicle inventory.
Review VSS database information and work with DFM Finance to update as necessary to ensure accurate billing.

Vehicle Replacement Processes:
JBC Replacement List: This process is developed approximately two fiscal years in advance of the need. The projections are often made with data available at the time of origination. This can result in marginal variances in the final request eighteen 18 to twentyfour 24 months later.
Ordering New Vehicles
Final Order Sheets: After the Purchase Orders are sent out SFM sends out a Final Order Sheet for each vehicle ordered.
New Vehicle Registration Report
Receiving Vehicles: When the new vehicle is received at SFM all title and plating is completed by SFM.

CDHS operates two maintenance garages at the CMHHIFL and CMHHIP campuses. Coordinate with District Manager and Garage Supervisors to schedule and complete maintenance requirements internally whenever possible. Work to improve utilization of CDHS garages by external agencies

Vehicle Damage Procedures
CDHS fleet Administrator manages the Geotab system with those vehicle coordinators and appropriate staff that need access to the Geotab database to include managing access provide system training and utilize Geotab for analytics and fleet reporting needs.
Chargepoint Duties: Fleet Electrification; Where EVs are not a good fit pursue the most efficient alternative available.
Explore opportunities and technologies that improve vehicle efficiency and reduce fuel consumption and Greenhouse Gas Emissions associated with the CDHS fleet operations especially where alternative fuel vehicles are not an option. Seek out information on available grant funding for EV charging infrastructure. Provide technical support to District and PDC Team members who are pursuing grant funding for EV charging infrastructure.
Participate in the Greening Government Leadership Council as directed by the CDHS Energy and Sustainability Manager.
Complete the Annual GGLC Fleet Management Report
Oversee the CDHS Workplace Charging Program
Experience Only:
OR
Education and Experience:Comprehensive knowledge and experience in centrally managing fleet that included light medium and heavy duty fleet assets;
Knowledge and experience managing budgets;
Experience in asset management software and databases; ability to create unique and standard reports;
Experience with Telematics/Automatic Vehicle Locator (AVL) systems;
Experience developing technical specifications and standardization option packages for vehicle and equipment acquisitions;
Leadership and vision across multidisciplinary groups;
Proven ability to manage multiple assignments priorities and projects in a demanding environment;
Experience with Colorado Automotive Reporting System (CARS) and/or Geotab.
Experience working with ChargePoint.
Required Competencies:
Familiar with automotive and light truck repair terminology

Travel This position will be required to drive State Vehicles as part of daily work assignment. Statewide travel. Travel to training and meetings.

Must successfully pass a Tuberculosis (TB) test.
