Position Overview
Clear and accurate pricing is a key part of providing a great customer service and a great shopping experience for our customers. If you have a keen attention to accuracy and enjoy the detailed nature of working with signs and tags a scan position may just be the right one for you!Job Description
Description- Provide friendly and attentive customer service as you oversee the day to day operations of the department and supervise the department team
- Create excitement for our shoppers by creating signage for sale items displays and endcaps.
- Communicate clear and correct pricing to our customers throughout every store department by ensuring consistent and accurate product tagging and handling price change files each week
- Handle selection training development and scheduling of scan/pricing associates.
- Travel Required:No
- Store : Office Temperature 65F to 75F)
- Specialized Knowledge : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Special Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions for equipment and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports; Ability to read write and perform basic math functions; Possess basic computer skills; Regular vision
- Physical abilities: : Constant amounts of standing & walking; Frequent amounts of lifting carrying 50 lb pushing and pulling loads up to 100 lb handling talking and hearing
- Other: : Excellent communication skills basic computer skills and the ability to learn differentiate and retain information regarding product lines/locations and operate the cash register/point of sale system printer and pricing gun
- 02 : retail experience preferred
