The purpose of this role is to provide end to end leadership for a set of technology platforms in support of a business area such as procurement as part of Finance. Partnering with the business this role will drive end to end delivery deployment and support of all applications in this space as well as ensuring the set of platforms bring business value.
As part of this role the Functional Lead will be required to work across a broad stakeholder group comprising both IT business staff and support teams to capture interpret and use information to align configuration to business requirements and DANs broader technology strategy and standards.
The Functional Lead will act as the custodian of the configuration required for changes as part of the BAU organisation ensuring it is maintained in a controlled manner with appropriate considerations made for its security and the global asset which DAN is working towards. They will be required to work with the Solutions team to ensure the configuration is updated in environments as required.

Key responsibilities:
- Owns the technology agenda and roadmap working with the business to drive delivery and evolution of platform (application integration data management and infrastructure)
- Supports the business leadership to manage the technology elements of projects in this area
- Develops and maintains the target systems architecture (enterprise application integration data and infrastructure) for platform in scope
- Works with the business function to provide solutions to markets and brands in line with business strategy
- Leads a single team to deliver and support applications infrastructure Integration and data management solutions
- Responsible for relationship and performance of all technology vendors and service providers
Knowledge and skills
- Ability to work with business and solutions teams to implement configuration enhancements as requested.
- Clear understanding of finance modules within Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Ability to impact assess any configuration being asked for to ensure this aligns with DAN standard approach and governance.
- Experience working with business teams and analysing requirements
- 15 Years of experience with Dynamics for finance and operations which includes financials fixed assets project accounting.
- Understanding of AR AP Fixed Assets GL PO.
- Proven experience with working within delivery timelines and budget restraints.
- Experience with the Data Management Framework.
- Experience of running data exports and import projects
- Experience of Project Operations (earlier known as Project Service AutomationPSA) is a plus.
