Shape the Future of System Compliance

As SCCO you will be the principal architect behind the integration of two previously independent compliance departments into a single unified compliance program. This is a rare and powerful opportunity to design implement and lead every aspect of a modern systemwide compliance structurebringing together teams aligning processes and building a strong foundation of trust and accountability across the enterprise.

Youll serve as a strategic advisor to the Board of Directors and executive leadership driving the systems approach to privacy regulatory standards and ethical conduct across nine hospitals more than 20 regional partnerships and a workforce of 9000 employees and 1200 providers.

A Role That Requires Proven Excellence

This role demands a seasoned leader with a minimum of 10 years of progressive executive leadership in healthcare compliance and privacy specifically within a large hospital or hospital system. This level of experience is absolutely essential and directly tied to a candidates ability to lead at this scale.

Youll oversee compliance efforts that impact over 600000 residents across 40000 square miles ensuring both operational excellence and patient trust are upheld at every level.

What Youll Lead

  • Unify and build a comprehensive compliance department aligning processes people and policies into one integrated system.
  • Design and lead the development implementation and evaluation of an enterprisewide compliance program grounded in transparency accountability and effectiveness.
  • Advise the system Board and executive leadership with clarity and vision on risk mitigation education audits and legal regulations.
  • Direct investigations HIPAA oversight and risk assessments ensuring adherence to both internal standards and external requirements.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration bringing together diverse teams and empowering them under a shared mission of integrity and excellence.

Who Were Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in business administration healthcare management or related field required (Masters or JD strongly preferred).
  • CHPS (Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security) or CHC (Certified in Healthcare Compliance) certification required.
  • 10 years of executivelevel leadership in healthcare compliance and privacy within a large hospital or healthcare system.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives implement systemwide frameworks and build strong unified teams.
  • Skilled in navigating complex regulatory environments and communicating effectively with executive stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical interpersonal and communication skillscapable of uniting teams and leading change with clarity and purpose.
