Job Description

Residential Based SCL Program Coordinator

Hills & Dales is a nonprofit organization committed to building meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities including those with complex behavioral needs. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate leader to join our team in Dubuque IA. You would have the opportunity to oversee the daytoday operations of our residentialbased supported community living program. This job supports and carries out the client plans & aspects of the implementation of personcentered services and provides supervision and leadership of assigned DSPs. This position is responsible to the department director in developing and providing strategic business direction for RBSCL services.

Position: FullTime

Schedule: FullTime Exempt Salaried Position

  • Office hours: Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm (flexibility for evenings and weekends as needed)
  • OnCall Rotation: Required
    • Includes weekends some evenings and some holidays.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team of RBSCL Direct Support Professionals (RBSCL DSPs).

Mentor train and foster team cohesion.

Collaborate with case managers and clients to ensure exceptional care and support.

Contribute to strategic business direction under the guidance of the department director.

Requirements:

Free from a conviction or prior employment history of child or resident abuse or dependent adult abuse.

Be at least 18 years of age.

Bachelors degree (B.A. or B.S. from a fouryear college or university in social work human services or a related field.

Prior experience working with children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities preferred.

Valid drivers license proof of personal vehicle insurance meeting agency policy ability to be approved as an agency driver.

Complete required initial and ongoing training as identified in Iowa Administrative Code and agency training policies.
