Star Stone is looking to hire fulltime General Laborers and Saw Technicians for our Saw Shop.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SAW SHOP SAW TECH
As a fulltime general laborer youre comfortable working around heavy machinery and enjoy big tools. Youll assist our Saw Techs and learn to cut and craft stone using saws and hand tools to make beautiful landscaping and building materials. Youll perform cleanup and stack pallets of stone. As you stay with the company youll advance to Saw Tech and learn to maintain and eventually repair equipment in our shop. Youll learn to optimize stone usage to create the highest value considering labor and stone usage. You assist coworkers in any assigned task with an upbeat attitude and a smile. You feel great satisfaction through seeing how much you help keep our operations running smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to meet physical requirements of the job such as heavy lifting (comfortably lift 80 lbs. standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to pass drug screening
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery fully outfitted in PPE gloves hearing protection steeltoed boots goggles and rubber apron
• Prior experience in construction masonry landscaping heavy labor or stone cutting preferred but not required

Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Personality and attitude are more important than experience.

SAW GENERAL LABORER WORK SCHEDULE
The schedule is negotiable but should generally be during our first morning or second afternoon shifts. You have weekends off.
