You will be contacted directly by Ardent Health after applying to this Health East Texas located in Tyler TX seeks a BE/BC Critical Care Anesthesiologist to join our health system comprised of 10 hospitals and more than 70 physician clinics. UT Health East Texas and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler combine to serve as the university medical center for Northeast Texas and beyond. Position Details: Physician will practice at UT Health Tyler and occasionally at UT Health North Campus Tyler with exposure to a wide variety of postoperative cardiac thoracic and vascular surgical responsibilities may include participation on service with internal medicine residents and family medicine residents and eventually anesthesia residents and medical anticipate our anesthesia residency training program to begin June 2024. Research is not necessary but the opportunity is available to clinical faculty. UT Health Tyler501 bed level I trauma center tertiary hospital 74bed ICU capacityMedical staff of more than 600 physicians including a full complement of subspecialty physiciansThe ICU is fortunate to have a fulltime staff of dedicated critical care ultrasound is utilized as well as other state of the art critical care neurologic cardiac and trauma ICUsDedicated stroke centerInterventional and neurointerventional radiologyIon robot for bronchoscopy navigational bronchoscopy and EBUSNorth Campus pulmonary clinic has associated infusion centerUT Health North Campus Tyler14bed ICU level IV trauma center 24hour emergency departmentAdvanced cancer treatmentBehavioral health services including outpatient care for ages 3adult and inpatient adult and geriatric programsBiomedical Research conducted at UT Health Science Center is nationally recognizedAs a partner with the University of Texas System our Graduate Medical Education is an integral component at UT Health East Texas and is growing rapidly.
