Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and highly motivatedOrthopedic Total Joint Advanced Practitioner Provider (APP)to join our team in a primarily clinicbased role. The APP will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing total joint replacement with morning rounding duties on postoperative inpatients and responding to floor pages as needed. In the outpatient clinic the APP will manage postoperative followups evaluate new and established patients and accommodate urgent sameday visits to support continuity of care and optimal outcomes. This role requires strong clinical acumen excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced orthopedic environment.

In addition to direct patient care the APP will actively participate inquality improvement initiativesin collaboration with hospital staff and orthopedic Nurse Navigators. The position also includesoccasional coverage in the operating roomto assist with total joint procedures andintermittent orthopedic urgent care shifts providing timely evaluation and treatment of acute musculoskeletal issues. Qualifications

  • Required Masters Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program

  • LICPhysician Assistant STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRTPhysician Asst Certified (PAC) NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants Upon Hire required

  • CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required

  • CRTBasic Life Support (BLS) ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

  • CRTPediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required

  • CRTAdv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) AHA American Heart Association 120 Days required
