A dynamic and forwardthinking organisation is looking for a Specialist Developer: Information Technology to join their skilled team. This role offers the chance to work on critical applications that drive service delivery and operational efficiency across the enterprise.
In this exciting position the successful candidate will provide expert advice and handson support to ensure the effective development enhancement implementation and optimisation of application modules and subsystems. Youll play a key role in delivering highimpact solutions while influencing change and continuous improvement within a fastpaced evolving environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A relevant Bachelors degree or advanced diploma (NQF 7 in IT or 10 years of relevant development experience
- At least 3 years experience in application development within the Microsoft .NET space
- Experience working with MS SQL or IBM DB2
- 2 years experience using ReactJS Redux JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of Git repository management (preferably CLI)
- Proficiency in both traditional and Agile development methodologies
- Microsoft certification (MCSD) and formal training in web development
Key responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing efficient scalable software solutions
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives within development processes
- Providing specialist input to projects change initiatives and governance practices
- Reviewing specifications and artefacts to ensure quality and compliance
- Mentoring junior developers and collaborating across teams
