Position Details:
Join our team on the University of New Haven campus providing essential care to students in a supportive environment. We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners to deliver primary care and same day care such as vaccines sick visits and physicals. Youll be the primary provider with access to support staff and other providers for any questions. If youre passionate about education and making a difference in students lives apply today!

Location: University of New Haven
Setting: 100 Outpatient Primary Care
Schedule: Parttime 36 hours per week 52 week per year

Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants Role Scope:
Under established guidelines and in collaboration and/or supervision with the practice physician(s) Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants perform routine physical examinations and formulate medical educational and psychosocial plans to treat patients.
In consultation with the physician(s) and care team members Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants develop plans for further evaluation of health needs e.g. referral to other health team members or specialists.
Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants provide appropriate treatment for problems within the scope of the providers practice as designated by protocols and identifies problems outside of their scope of practice and refers appropriately to physician.
Requirements:
- Licensure: Unrestricted State of Connecticut Medical License (or eligible)
- Training: Nurse Practitioner (Family Adult/Geri Nurse Practitioner) or Physician Assistant
- Experience: 1 years experience in a primary care or relevant outpatient setting
