The Project/Program Manager II reports to the Program Manager of the Homelessness Prevention team of the Housing and Community Development Division (HCDD) and is responsible for assisting in negotiating and managing contracts and coordinating with other funders and providers to implement projects for people at imminent risk of experiencing homelessness in King County.

WORK SCHEDULE/CONDITIONS:Thisis a Special Duty Assignment (SDA) or TermLimited Temporary (TLT) position anticipated to end 12/31/2026 but subject to change dependent on operational need. This position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week MondayFriday 8 am 5 position meetsthe provisions of the Fair Labor StandardsActandis overtime eligible with supervisory preapproval. This position is represented by PROTEC17.


MISSION CRITICAL POSITION STATUS:This position has been designated NonMission Critical. Unless otherwise directed by the County Executive department director or agency head all employees regardless of designation are expected to report to work or request leave during an emergency or inclement weather. TELEWORKING REQUIREMENT:The work associated with this position will be performed or conducted through a combination of teleworking and onsite work and meetings. Employees will have access to shared workspaces at various King County facilities. Employees must reside in Washington state and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.
