ROLE SUMMARY

Pfizer Oncology is focused on extending its leadership in genitourinary cancers and we are committed to developing and delivering a broad portfolio of medicines in prostate cancer that define standards of care for patients across the treatment continuum. We aspire to lead biomarkerdriven prostate cancer with the development and launch of TALZENNA (talazoparib) in the highly competitive poly (ADPribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitor landscape.
As a priority brand for the Oncology portfolio TALZENNA has the potential to deliver close to $2B in global peak revenues. We are laser focused on driving robust launch uptake of the first indication in 1L metastatic castrationresistant prostate cancer (mCPRC) (TALAPRO2; approved in the U.S. in June 2023 in HRRm mCRPC the EU in January 2024 in allcomers mCRPC and Japan in January 2024 in BRCAm mCRPC. The TALZENNA prostate development program includes a Phase 3 study in the earlier setting of advanced prostate cancer in combination with XTANDI for adult patients in HRRm metastatic castrationsensitive prostate cancer (mCSPC) (TALAPRO3. Estimated US/EU approval in 2H 2026.
This role will support the growth of TALZENNA through various responsibilities including: launch of the TALAPRO3 mCSPC indication leadership of the crossfunctional launch team and commercial partner with TALZENNA GPT. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global priority brand and indication launch for Oncology.
Launch lead for the TALAPRO3 mCSPC indication including the delivery of launch readiness reviews launch sequencing and approvals
Ensure value optimization and communication strategy for TALZENNA as it moves from mCRPC to HRRm mCSPC indication
Stewardship of overall brand value and Global LRF
Support/mentor team members on launch planning deliverables working closely with crossfunctional partners in Launch Excellence (CMO) Medical GAV BAI and others
Serve as the primary point of accountability with the team to ensure launch readiness
Provide commercial perspective for GPT decisions and initiatives related to talazoparib development opportunities
Partner with International Commercial Office (ICO) and Emerging Markets Commercial Office (EM CO) on maximizing the launch of TALAPRO3
Act as a role model with an entrepreneurial mindset strong leadership and ability to influence without authority
Conduct all activities and makes decisions that are in accordance with Company policies & SOPs Pfizer values & global regulatory guidelines
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree
12 years commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
Strong track record of XF and team leadership in a matrixed environment
Ability to work independently across senior level stakeholders and demonstrates judgement of what needs to be escalated
Robust planning skills and ability to multitask under pressure
Selfstarter comfortable with ambiguity
Solid understanding of todays Global and US pharmaceutical environment incl. Regulatory Legal and Compliance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree
Oncology experience required
Global and/or US launch experience highly recommended
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $204700.00 to $341100.00. In addition this position is eligible for participation in Pfizers Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 22.5 of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
