About this role
This position is for a Lead Field Technician in Aftermarket and Service who is under minimal supervision. Installs tests services and repairs complex equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements. Leads lower level staff to maintain and analyze equipment logs to identify equipment repair needs and required repair methods. Relies on moderate to extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge of computers and setup procedures
Knowledge of computer networking systems
Previous experience in AutoCAD and Bluebeam
Working experience with Carrier iVu Tridium or BACnet systems
Proficient with Microsoft Suite
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Knowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control
Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
3 years of Direct Digital Controls experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Formal DDC training.
trade school.
HVAC background/experience
Understanding of Backnet controls and 3rd party integration.
Experience in building and maintaining graphics.
Experience in submittals and as built drawings.
