The Oregon State Police in Springfield Oregon is hiring for one 1 FullTime Limited Duration Business Operations Supervisor 1 positionexpecting to end on or before 06/30/2027. The Limited Duration appointment may be extended beyond this date or may end prior to this date.

Summary of Job Duties:
As the Central Region Office Manager you will manage the daytoday operation for the Central Region Captain staff and supervise all the regional support staff employees. You will also oversee some administrative operation for the Springfield Area Command.
You will provide administrative review oversight and recommendations for administrative functions throughout the office in Central Region. You will be the hiring manager for nonsworn employees within the region.
In this position you will assist the Region Captain and other agency management in the administration of agency programs and operations and coordination of communications relating to the implementation and usage of those programs to Area Command and Work Site personnel throughout Central Region.
Minimum Qualifications:
Three years of lead work supervision or progressively related experience
OR
A bachelors degree in a related field.
Preferred Skills:
Strong business acumen with experience in strategic planning process improvement and coordinating diverse resources to achieve defined objectives.
Proficient in leveraging computer systems and software tools (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite Adobe Suite) to analyze complex issues identify problems and implement effective solutions.
Demonstrated leadership in staff management including recruitment hiring budgeting training performance evaluations investigations and disciplinary actions.
Skilled in interpreting and communicating rules regulations statutes and administrative policies to ensure compliance and clarity.
Effective in resolving disputes and fostering collaboration to promote positive outcomes and support team cohesion.

Special Qualifications:
Must be LEDS certified or be able to obtain certification within the first six months of employment.
