The Oregon Youth Authority (OYA) is hiring a Juvenile Parole & Probation Assistant (JPPA) to support our Washington County Field Office in Portland Oregon. In this role you will assist Juvenile Parole/Probation Officers by providing case management support and secure youth transportation across community and facility settings. Were looking for someone who is dependable organized and thrives in a fastpaced environment. Strong communication skills cultural awareness and a teamoriented mindset are essential. What you will do:
Transport youth to and from facilities court appearances appointments and community programsensuring safety documentation and adherence to OYA transport procedures.
Support case management by assisting with assessments documentation and followups to help Juvenile Parole/Probation Officers implement individualized reformation plans.
Monitor youth progress in educational vocational treatment and community settingsoffering guidance and reinforcing positive behavioral change.
Collaborate with families and partners to coordinate services arrange transitional visits and maintain community connections that support each youths success.
Promote a safe and inclusive environment by using a developmental approach applying cultural humility and participating in DEIrelated training and practices.

The salary range listed is the nonPERS participating rate. If you are already a participating PERS member or once you become PERS eligible the salary range will increase by 6. Please review the Classification and Compensation page for more details.
This position receives annual increases on the anniversary date until the maximum of the salary range is reached.
