Shift: Day Shift 8 Hours FullTime 40 Hours

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate leader to oversee daily operations and ensure the highest quality of care and diagnostic imaging services in our Whitefish Imaging Department.

As the Manager of Imaging youll lead a team of highly trained professionals serve as a technical resource and play a key role in advancing imaging services that support our commitment to excellence in patient care.

What Youll Do

  • Provide daytoday operational leadership and clinical oversight of the Imaging Department.

  • Support staff development through orientation mentorship education and competency assessments.

  • Serve as a technical expert and maintain clinical proficiency to assist operationally as needed.

  • Ensure quality safety and regulatory compliance in imaging procedures and patient care.

  • Monitor and support department productivity budgets equipment and supply utilization.

  • Foster a culture of collaboration continuous improvement and exceptional patient experience.

  • Actively participate in organizational safety quality and performance improvement initiatives.

Required Certifications (one or more):

  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) with certification in at least one of the following areas by the ARRT:

    • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

    • Mammography

    • Computed Tomography (CT)

    • Nuclear Medicine

    • Radiology

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of three 3 years of leadership experience in an imaging or healthcare setting.

  • Strong knowledge of imaging practices anatomy physiology radiation safety and patient care.

  • Working knowledge of budgeting processes and healthcare operations.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of learning new systems as needed.

  • Current CPR certification for assigned area(s).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one 1 of the following required:

    • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in magnetic resonance imaging by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).

    • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in mammography by the ARRT.

    • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in computed tomography by the ARRT.

    • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in nuclear medicine by the ARRT.

    • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) in radiology by the ARRT.

  • Minimum of three 3 years leadership experience required. Possess strong understanding of budgetary processes and systems of accountability.

  • Familiar with a variety of imaging concepts practices and procedures required.

Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy physiology radiation safety and patient care.

  • Current CPR for designated assigned area(s) required.

  • Possess knowledge of the health care environment health care reform and care delivery systems as they apply to the assigned department.

  • Excellent organizational skills detailoriented a selfstarter possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Provides daytoday operational leadership to the assigned specialty program area(s).

  • Provides oversight of the clinical staff and patient care to include; staffing orientation education policy/process compliance and overall quality of patient interaction and care. Identifies educational needs on an ongoing basis and develops educational programs to ensure ongoing competency of staff.

  • Creates an environment of collaboration and mentorship and supports and/or assumes clinical duties operationally required. Completes clinical procedures with high technical quality utilizing designated protocols as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Encourages and develops risk quality and safety reporting and analysis to foster problem solving root case analysis for operational and clinical improvement.

  • Supports customer service guidelines by developing patient and family relations supporting the care team to provide exemplary customer service and demonstrating proactive service recovery.

  • Maintains adherence of clinical practices in assigned specialty area(s) according to the regulatory standards governing Logan Health and the application of the standards to the policies and procedures.

  • Ensures the appropriate policies procedures and documentation are utilized by the assigned area(s). Participates in the development and concurrent review of policies and procedures. Assures appropriate staff training for new procedures.

  • Monitors unit productivity standards. Assists leadership with operational and capital budget development and fiscal oversight. Assists leadership and materials management to assure appropriate equipment and supplies are available. Provides input on supply use and supply/equipment cost analysis.

  • Participates in proactive safety and risk management programs to improve structure process and outcomes of care. Works with leadership to assess quality outcomes metrics and implements process improvement. Participates in organizational committees/ task forces as assigned.

  • Conducts focused rounds in the assigned area ensures the safety comfort and needs of patients and families are sustained in a timely courteous and professional manner. Maintains a visible and participatory presence in the assigned area(s) and addresses needs or concerns in a timely manner.

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
