About the team!
An exciting opportunity tojoin the dynamic growing EY Government Incentives team based in our Adelaide office. Work alongside purposedriven and committed science engineering software law and commerce professionals that assist our clients access government incentives that are vital for investment growth and a better working world.
Play a key role in client Research and Development (R&D) Tax Incentive claims which are jointly administered by the Australian Tax Office (ATO) and Department of Industry Science and Resources (AusIndustry) as a trusted advisor. This will involve preparing and reviewing R&D project descriptions and R&D expenditure calculations as well as managing all aspects of R&D Tax Incentive claim processes from preparation review and lodgement for startup to large private and public multinationals across diverse industries.
You will alsoassistclients withidentifyingand accessingotherState and Federal grants and incentives. This will involve assisting with strategic planning and preparing applications business cases budgets and other supporting documentation for competitive grant programs.

- Experience with R&D Tax Incentive program(minimum 4 years experience)
- Experience in dealing with technical challenges faced by industry professionals such as engineering design the development or improvement of manufacturing processes development of new products and improvement to existingproducts.
- Business acumen and relevant commercial exposure in terms of understanding the marketability of new products andprocesses.
- Leadership skills and ambitions and experience with or ambition todelegatecoach and mentor junior team members
- Strong attention to detail and focus onquality.
- A collaborative working style with excellent communication and presentational skills (both oral and written)
- Selfmotivated proactiveinnovative and enthusiastic.
