Job Description
The Citadel Outlets is currently hiring for the following Security Officer positions to ensure a safe and positive shopping experience. OnCall Security Officers will enjoy a flexible schedule that may include daytime evenings weekends holidays and/or overnight shifts. All qualified candidates must have a valid CA Guard Card.
Pay Rate: $18.00 $20 Per Hour depending on experience.
This position may accommodate various scheduling needs based on availability to those who are able to perform the following Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Protects the property both on foot and by vehicle being visible and observant at all times.
- Maintains the security cellular phone and professionally responds to all calls for service within the Center.
- Ensures the safety comfort and satisfaction of the shopping public by always exhibiting a professional and helpful attitude.
- Ensures critical areas of the property are being monitored.
- Maintains complete knowledge of all security operations policies and procedures.
- Documents security activity using appropriate corporate and center security forms always ensuring the work product is concise accurate and thorough.
- Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in implementing the centers Security work plan assigned work activities projects and programs.
- Performs all duties according to OSHA established health and safety standards.
- Assists the Security Supervisor and Security Director in training new security personnel.
- Complies with all Corporate and Security policies and procedures that pertain to the Center.
- Establishes and maintains working relationships with store managers and employees on an ongoing basis to enhance the security and safety of all employees and the general public.
- Performs special projects or other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or its equivalent.
- 2 3 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
- Must have a valid CA State Guard Card.
