About this position:
LMCU is seeking a Mortgage Processing Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of the mortgage processing team. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional member service efficiency and quality while also maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
What youll do:
Manage and balance mortgage processing pipeline ensuring quality compliance and timely delivery; collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues
Mentor motivate and support team members to achieve and exceed performance goals and KPIs; coordinate training and professional development
Recruit hire onboard and oversee daily activities of processors and team leads; conduct performance reviews and recommend promotions or development opportunities
Address and resolve customer service issues professionally; foster a positive work environment through strong internal and external relationships
What Youll Bring:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage processing or a related area within the mortgage industry.
At least 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferably in a highvolume mortgage environment.
Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products underwriting guidelines and regulatory compliance (e.g. TRID RESPA HMDA).
Proven track record of team leadership coaching and performance management
Experience with loan origination systems (LOS) and pipeline management tools preferred.
