Why Ballys:
Ballys Corporation is a global casinoentertainment company with a growing omnichannel presence currently owning and managing 15 casinos across 10 states a golf course in New York a horse racetrack in Colorado and having access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle UK further expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. It also owns Ballys Interactive International formerly Gamesys Group a leading global interactive gaming operator Bally Bet a firstinclass sports betting platform and Bally Casino a growing iCasino platform.
With 10600 employees the Companys casino operations include approximately 15300 slot machines 580 table games and 3800 hotel rooms. Ballys also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.
Upon completion of the announced merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. (Queen) the above portfolio is expected to be supplemented with four additional casinos across three states one of which will be an additional state that expands Ballys jurisdiction of operations to include the state of Iowa. Queen will also add over 900 employees and operations that currently include approximately 2400 slot machines 50 table games and 150 hotel rooms to the Ballys portfolio. Ballys will also become the successor of Queens significant economic stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A. (ATSE: INLOT).
The Role:
As an Executive Casino Host at Ballys you will support the companys objectives by developing and maintaining an excellent rapport with quality gaming guests.
Responsibilities:
Foster an environment that embodies Ballys Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a funfilled entertaining atmosphere
Enthusiastically promote Ballys customercentric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building longlasting guest relations
Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements Company initiatives and organizational goals
Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the Illinois Gaming Board Statewide Voluntary SelfExclusion Program
Attract develop and retain new player patronage through personalized service
Assist in the development of programs to increase player worth while staying with established comping guidelines
Greet and host customers maintaining a high standard of courtesy friendliness and hospitable attitude
Assist customers in following procedures to obtain complimentary privileges
Assist in planning and executing special events and programs to stimulate revenue growth improve operational costs and enhance customer service levels
Arrange special events for quality customers including but not limited to air and ground transportation accommodations and tickets to sporting events
Observe all employees in their contact with guests and work with management to improve friendliness and courtesy
Assist with phone solicitation
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must know and comply with requirements of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as pertains to Credit/Player Services transactions as well as all Illinois Gaming Board regulations
Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite and must be knowledgeable with casino computer systems
Highlevel public relations and customer service skills are required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required
Must have a working knowledge of table games and slot machines
Must be able to work weekends weeknights and holidays
