Key job responsibilities
Design and implement embedded software solutions for hardware services including device drivers and Linux kernel modules
Contribute to system architecture and technical requirements development
Evaluate and enhance system performance through data analysis and testing

About the team
The Connectivity Platform team develops control and management plane software for eero hardware. We collaborate across multiple disciplines including Customer Experience Product Cloud Quality Assurance Hardware Product Analytics and Manufacturing Operations. 5 years of professional software development experience
5 years of programming experience in at least one software programming language
5 years of experience leading systems design and architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
Understanding of systemlevel software/hardware interaction
Experience with device drivers Linux systems and networking
Knowledge of networking protocols (TCP IP UDP DHCP DNS ARP NAT)
Experience in technical team collaboration

Experience with networking layers L3 to L7
3 years of Python and/or Go programming experience
Background in embedded systems development
Experience with mesh networking technologies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
