Overview:
The Benton School District is seeking a highly motivated visionary and communitydriven Athletic Director to lead and elevate our comprehensive athletics program beginning with theschool year. This individual will serve as the face of Benton athleticssomeone who is passionate about supporting every sport every coach and every studentathlete. We are looking for a leader who will bring energy excellence and pride to our athletic programs and the broader Benton community.
Key Characteristics:
The ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about promoting and representing all sportsbig and smallwith equal enthusiasm.
- Excel in public relations serving as a visible and vocal advocate for Benton athletics throughout the school and community.
- Demonstrate strong fundraising abilities to support and grow athletic opportunities across all programs.
- Bring high energy and a tireless work ethic to lead a fastpaced and dynamic department.
- Be forwardthinkingable to see beyond the daytoday and help plan a vibrant future for Benton athletics.
- Remain detailed and organized with the capacity to manage complex logistics multiple schedules and a wide range of responsibilities.
- Be capable of leading and organizing major community events such as the Salt Bowlthe annual highprofile football matchup between Benton High School and Bryant High School which draws thousands and represents the best of our schools and towns.
Qualifications:
- A deep understanding of high school athletics including rules regulations compliance and student development.
- Proven ability to lead both adults and students effectively with integrity confidence and clarity.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work across all sports programs and connect with diverse personalities and teams.
- A strong commitment to being fully invested in the Benton communityon and off the field.
- Proven leadership experience in athletic administration coaching or related educational settings.
- Successful coaching experience preferred.
- Educational leadership background preferred.

Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. The position will be placed on the administrative salary schedule and include benefits consistent with Benton School District policy.
