Position Overview:

  • The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for creating internal and external communications and content including articles for the monthly newsletter press materials and marketing collateralprimarily through written communications.
  • Candidates with visual communication skills (e.g. graphic design video editing photography/videography) will have a strong advantage.
  • This role also supports PrefTechs internal and external events including trade shows annual meetings charitable initiatives client functions and employee celebrations.

Work Hours/Locations:

Standard workdays and times are Monday Friday 8a.m. to 5 p.m. About 80 of the Marketing Coordinator work can be done remotely. The remaining 20 will include inperson activities such as meetings networking events travel will be required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write and edit content for newsletters brochures flyers ads websites blogs social media email and various marketing and communication materials.
  • Use professional writing and editing skills to strategically represent PrefTech to external audiences including clients prospects partners and vendors.
  • Participate in campaign planning brainstorming sessions and project management efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers to develop and execute communication strategies with measurable goals.
  • Assist with designing promotional and branded materials.
  • Use social media to engage with audiences address inquiries and promote initiatives.
  • Produce digital and print collateral using Canva Adobe InDesign Illustrator and other Creative Cloud tools.
  • Monitor social media and website performance metrics.
  • Contribute to branding efforts through graphic design and multimedia content.
  • Utilize SEO techniques to boost website traffic.
  • Work collaboratively with other departmentsespecially Salesto provide backup support for administrative and coordination needs.

Required Experience:

  • Eagerness to take on new challenges and grow skillsets
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking
  • Accuracy in reviewing technical content
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Highly organized and efficient without sacrificing quality
  • 13 years of experience in a marketing or communications role preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing platforms (e.g. Constant Contact Canva Google Analytics Semrush)
  • Familiarity with social media and digital marketing best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment
  • Detailoriented proactive and enthusiastic about brand storytelling

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills.
  • SEO and SEM knowledge a plus.
