Position Summary
The RMS will report directly to the Director of Risk Management. Under minimal supervision the RMS is responsible for performing all daytoday account opening and transaction processing for specialized members. They will also review daily reports and ensure adherence to policies procedures and compliance. The RMS must have the ability to travel to other branches for support and coverage as needed. This position requires 2 days per week in our Lomita branch (TBD) and 3 days of remote work (TBD). The RMS must have the ability to travel to other branches for support and coverage as needed. BSA Investigations Loss Prevention and/or Risk Management experience peferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists members with teller transactions appointment scheduling account maintenance and inquiries regarding products or services. Escalates issues as needed along with recommendations for resolution
- Intake of loan and new membership applications via specialized direct channels which includes application interview gathering application documents and may include initial review and underwriting funding and/or disbursing of loan proceeds
- Completes daily review of Audit Link reports for abnormal activity notating and escalating findings accordingly
- Communicates directly with members (verbal and written) regarding various issues and opportunities
- Requires occasional participation in specialized business development events
- Performs other jobrelated duties as assigned
Performance Measurements
- Provides friendly prompt professional and accurate service to all members and team members with followups to be resolved within one business day
- Ensures all paperwork related to new accounts or maintenance is processed in compliance with relevant regulations
- Safeguards member information during business hours and overnight
- Required reports are prepared and completed in an accurate and timely manner daily
- Management is kept informed of key issues
