Interventional Pain Management Physician

Pay Range: $300000.00$350000.00

5day work week Monday Friday 8 5 PM


Description

Comprehensive Pain Management practice in Kitsap County Washington desires to hire an additional Pain Management Physician. Our clinic is staffed with a balance of physicians PAs and ARNPs to optimize patient care for both medication management and interventional pain procedures. In 2022 we saw approximately 1600 new patients 15000 follow up visits and performed over 4000 procedures. We continue to grow steadily and perform procedures inoffice with fluoro at our Silverdale office and a freestanding multispecialty ASC in Poulsbo.

Our geographic area is unique in that we are only 12 miles from Seattle however our characteristic is more suburban to rural. We have the most waterfront property of any county in the western United States. Both the views and opportunities here are expansive. The economic stability of our area is unique in that we have a large amount of Navy maintenance and active fleet employment among the three bases that are in our county. Additionally our shipyard supports and administers all Navy maintenance operations in San Diego and Pearl Harbor. Navy financial support has never been better and is expected to continue to grow indefinitely. Further we are seeing a bleed over effect of tech industry and workers from Seattle enjoying our better available space and lower cost of living. We are connected to Seattle by a 30minute Bremerton fast foot ferry a 60minute Bremerton car ferry a 30minute Bainbridge Island car ferry or a 1 hour 15 minute drive via the beautiful Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

Qualified individuals should be proficient in the following in order to perform daily job responsibilities.

  • Promotes and maintains health by providing medical services under the supervision of Peninsulas Medical Director
  • Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining updating and studying medical history and records
  • Determines abnormal conditions by administering or ordering diagnostic tests such as XRay MRI and laboratory studies; interpreting test results
  • Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records
  • Performs standard diagnostic and therapeutic procedures by administering injections appropriate to the needs of the patient.
  • Ordering and reviewing and interpreting
  • Urine drug screen presumptive and subsequent confirmatory test results
  • Instructs and counsels patient and family by outlining therapeutic regimens; promoting wellness and health maintenance addressing aberrant behavior
  • Provides continuity of care by communicating with midlevel who assists in carrying out patient treatment plans
  • Collaborate with other specialists in managing acute and longterm medical needs of patient
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures rules and regulations
  • Complies with federal state and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
  • Contributes to team by filling in or seeing additional patients as needed
  • Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion and customer service for the patients

Required Education and Licensure

  • Doctorate
  • Completion of a oneyear fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
  • Must possess or be willing to acquire a Washington State Medical License
  • Active DEA License

Qualified individuals will be required to pass a drug test and will consent to a criminal background check.
