Job Description
The Marketing Event Specialist is responsible for Accenture Federal Services event sponsorship program. You will plan execute and tracks ROI for a range of sponsored events. These may include but are not limited to sponsored events with ecosystem partners industry organizations and community groups and custom forums. These events are important platforms that advance our business and marketing strategy by demonstrating our differentiated capabilities expertise and partnerships. This role works closely with colleagues across the Marketing Communications team and Accenture Federal Services business leads as well as Accenture teams.
The Work:
- Collaborate with marketer and lead event planning logistics and full meeting and event lifecycle management
- Support the creation of event invitations and registration site builds postcards and postevent surveys
- Provide onsite and virtual support for major events throughout the year
- Partner with Marketing Analytics to capture and analyze information to evaluate and optimize the impact of events
- Collaborate with procurement and AP to ensure purchase requisition requests are submitted invoices paid and vendor and sponsorship contracts signed
- Continuously look for ways to increase efficiency in the event planning process to better equipment business teams for success
Heres What You Need:
- US Citizenship
- 3 years of professional experience in business and industry event planning management and
- Flexibility for occasional travel
Bonus points if you have:
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP)
- Project management skills
- Executivelevel leadership presence
- Federal/Public Sector industry exposure
As required by local law Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states ofCalifornia Colorado Hawaii Illinois Maryland Minnesota New York Washington and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to office location role skill set and level of experience.
