Job Overview

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the ERP team and the successful transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the entire LCPS organization. The coordinators primary responsibilities include developing and implementing change management strategies conducting impact analyses and facilitating communication plans to ensure smooth transitions to a new ERP system. The coordinator will work closely with crossfunctional teams to identify potential challenges and formulate solutions that maximize employee engagement adopt and use new technologies minimize disruption and enhance employee engagement.

Roles and Responsibilities

The following information is intended to describe the overall nature and scope of the work being performed. This is not a comprehensive listing of all responsibilities or tasks; work may differ and other work may be assigned when deemed appropriate.

  • Develop and implement change management strategies tailored to ERP projects.
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis to identify key individuals and groups affected by ERP changes.
  • Create and execute communication plans to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Facilitate training sessions and workshops to ensure users are proficient with the new ERP system.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of change management activities and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers and ERP implementation teams to align change management efforts with project goals.
  • Identify potential resistance to change and develop strategies to mitigate it.
  • Provide support and coaching to managers and supervisors to help them lead their teams through change.
  • Oversee and actively participate in creating and disseminating change management materials such as guides FAQs and newsletters ensuring effective coordination and delivery.
  • Conduct impact assessments to understand the effects of ERP changes on business processes and employees.
  • Track and report on change management metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the organization.
  • Develop organizational readiness assessments and monitor readiness throughout the ERP implementation projects.
  • Defines and measures success metrics and monitors change progress.
  • Develop a transition plan for human and organizational impacts of ERP implementation projects and postgolive support.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between the ERP team and its key stakeholders including Budget and Finance (BFS) and Human Resources and Talent Development (HRTD).
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.
  • Implement best practices in project management and data handling.

Qualifications

Below are the minimum qualifications for this job. Equivalent combinations of education and experience are also acceptable.

Education

Bachelors Degree required

Masters Degree preferred

Certificate in Change Management a plus

Experience

Five years of experience in business management operations and leadership within a public school setting.
Experience with largescale change management related to ERP projects is a plus

  • Knowledge of project and process management in deploying enterpriselevel technology systems for business and enterprise systems.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Exceptional attention to detail excellent organizational abilities and a proven capacity to juggle multiple projects effectively.
  • Detailorientated with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple plans simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to apply change management principles methodologies and tools
  • Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and evolving landscape
