Job Description
Overview
Responsibilities
- Manages inventorying reordering pulling restocking rotating inventory and checking the expiration dates of inventory in order to meet departmental needs.
- Inspects working and storage areas and ensures clean and orderly conditions.
- Approves removal of nonfunctional equipment and supplies from service and reports problems to the proper department(s) for corrective action.
- Reviews data entry of inventory up to date making changes or drafting corresponding paperwork as necessary.
- Ensures supply deliveries are complete and accurate and that the condition of the supplies is acceptable.
- Investigates and resolves back orders and other delivery issues and product returns.
- Reviews daily work and incorporates training of assigned staff and performs monthly variance explanation.
- Maintains or responds to systems/databases in order to include patient charge capture.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Valid Drivers License (if driving a Cone Health vehicle must have 5 years of driving experience and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must be approved by Risk Management)
