About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement basic alteration services (i.e. Hemming patch and repair tapering) and more technical alterations (e.g. Fitting/tailoring items other than jeans where more technical equipment is necessary; detailed appearance altering processes embroidery)
- Exemplify and have customer service skills to enhance our clients experience.
- Educate and trains store teams on customer offerings provided by the Tailor Shop.
- Help with responsibilities on the selling floor and fitting room as requested by store management
- Comply with all Levis policy and programs.
Job Requirements:
- Experience with denim industry and current/upcoming trends.
- Understanding of textiles and fabrics with skills in sewing tailoring and textile repair.
- Awareness of design trends
- Enjoy engaging with clients and store team
About You
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 years of sewing/tailoring experience and a knowledge of jeans construction
- Knowledge of machines used in the sewing of denim products.
- While performing the responsibilities of the job you may be asked to stand walk sit talk and hear use hands to type and use the tools of tailor shop.
- You are occasionally required to reach with hands and arms lift climb or balance and stoop kneel crouch or crawl.

The expected starting hourly rate for this role in California is $21.30$24.85/hr. We may ultimately pay more than the posted rate based on the location of the role. Levi Strauss & Co.
