Associates degree in allied health applied science or completion of certificate program is required.
Bachelors degree in science allied health or related field is preferred.
High school diploma/GED AND 5 years working as a sonographer may be considered in lieu of associates degree.
Experience Qualifications
2 years of vascular ultrasound/sonography experience is required.
7 years of sonography/ultrasound experience (with 2 years in vascular sonography/ultrasound) is required if meeting the education equivalency.
Certifications Licenses and Registrations
Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Pay Range:
$34.21 $51.31A successful candidates actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience skills training certifications and education.
